Cancellations
Deposits are refundable less a $50 cancellation fee if reservation is cancelled 90 days prior to arrival. If reservation is cancelled less than 90 days prior to arrival deposit is non-refundable.
Additional Persons in Lodge Room
The Black Bear Lodge Room at Birch Forest Lodge is priced for double occupancy. Additional people in the lodge room will be $20 per night or $100 per week (per person) regardless of age of occupants.

Deposits
All reservations require a deposit. Deposits can be made with any major credit card. They can also be made by personal check, but must be received within 10 days of booking your reservation. Balance is paid upon check-in.
Check In/Check Out
Your vacation begins at 2 PM. Please NO early arrivals. We have very little time to get the resort ready for our new guests. Arrival prior to 2 PM will result in a $50 early-arrival fee per cabin. Check out is 9AM.
If you will be arriving late to the resort, we ask that you call us and let us know. This is particularly important if you have never been to Birch Forest Lodge before.
Early Departures
Renter is responsible for the entire reserved length of stay. Refunds are not given for bad weather.

This lodge room is newly remodeled with knotty pine interior and has windows facing the lake. The Black Bear Lodge Room features a queen sized log bed and has an alcove with a twin bed as well. The room has a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Room includes a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. Unlike our cabins, the lodge room rental includes towels and shampoo. There are no cooking facilities in this unit. This unit is upstairs of the main lodge and does have shorter than average ceilings and a narrow stairway as well as a sloped ceiling.
The Black Bear lodge room requires no minimum stays during any of our seasons. The room is available for rent from early May until early October. Like the cabins, the Black Bear lodge room can be rented for a week and receives the 7th night for free.
The Black Bear lodge room is a non-smoking unit and pet free. Guests have access to the resort canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards at no additional charge. Guests who wish to bring their own boat may do so and will have a dock slip the dock in front of the lodge. Standard dock fees apply.
