Can You Swim In Pelican Lake?
Yes, you sure can!
Swimming in Pelican Lake’s tranquil water is a favorite recreational activity for many visitors, especially during the summer. How is the Fishing at Pelican Lake, MN?
At Pelican Lake, fishing is second to none! It’s home to giant bluegill, an abundance of crappie, and some of the best smallmouth and largemouth bass fishing in the state. Visitors will also find plenty of fun-to-catch fighters like walleye, perch, and northern pike.
For those interested in fishing, keep in mind that Pelican Lake has a slot limit for bass and pike. Pike caught between 22-26 inches must be immediately returned to the water, and bass landed between 14-20 inches must also be released.
This slot limit has helped to preserve Pelican Lake as a great fishing destination, particularly for bass fisherman. And for those anglers interested in catching pike you will likely catch a lot of northern pike!
