*We require a week long stay with arrival on Saturday from Memorial Day weekend thru the first Saturday of August. If the unit isn’t booked 28 days prior to arrival date then we do allow 3 night stay. The rest of the season we require a 3 night stay.
Cancellations
Deposits are refundable less a $50 cancellation fee if reservation is cancelled prior to January 1. If reservation is cancelled after January 1 then deposit is non-refundable.
Additional Persons in Cabins
Cabins at Birch Forest Lodge are priced per cabin up to the maximum occupancy. Check cabin details for occupancy number for each cabin. If total number of people in cabin exceed the max occupancy additional charges will apply. Price is $20 per night or $100 per week (per person) regardless of age of occupants.

Deposits
All reservations require a deposit. Deposits can be made with any major credit card. They can also be made by personal check, but must be received within 10 days of booking your reservation. Balance is paid upon check-in.
Check In/Check Out
Your vacation begins at 2 PM. Please NO early arrivals. We have very little time to get the resort ready for our new guests. Arrival prior to 2 PM will result in a $50 early-arrival fee per cabin. Check out is 8AM.
If you will be arriving late to the resort, we ask that you call us and let us know. This is particularly important if you have never been to Birch Forest Lodge before.
Early Departures
Renter is responsible for the entire reserved length of stay. Refunds are not given for bad weather.

Cabin 5 has 1 bed plus a futon in the living room. Cabin 5 can sleep up to 4 people, but is ideal for 2 or 3 people.

Cabin 5 is an older, traditional Minnesota resort style cabin located right on our beach. The cabin has been remodeled and is very comfortable. The kitchen is small and there is no living room. Surrounded by shoreline, this comfy cabin rental is perfect for those who looking for a quiet cabin. The bedroom has 1 queen bed. The living room has a futon that can fold down to make a double bed. Perfect for a small family or a couple of guys wanting to spend time on the lake! Max occupancy is 4 people.
During peak season cabin 5 is rented on weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. The 2022 spring season will begin on Friday May 13 and end on Friday May 27. Our peak summer season starts on May 28 and goes til August 12. On August 13 our late summer rates kick in and go through September 4. Our Fall rate starts on Monday September 5 and will run till October 2. During our spring, late summer and fall seasons cabin 5 rents with a 3 night minimum.
All cabins are non-smoking cabins and pet free. As with all our cabin rentals, guests of cabin 5 have access to the canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards at no additional charge.
