The Lake House is available with a 4-night stay requirement. If you book for a week you must arrive on a Saturday. Unit is available from early May until early October.
This unit is pet friendly for well behaved pets. We charge a pet fee of $30 per pet, per night or $150 a week. Pets must be leashed when outdoors and cleaned up after. Pets are only allowed on the rental property and not on the main resort property. Property has its own fire pit and dock area. Must bring pet bedding for pets and pets are never allowed to be on furniture.
Cancellations
Deposits are refundable are non refundable after January 1 of the year you will arrive. Prior to December 31 of the year prior to your arrival the deposit is refundable less a $100 cancellation fee.
Additional Persons in Lake House
The Lake House sleeps up to 10 people. After 10 people the additional person rate is $20 per night.
Pets
Well behaved pets are allowed in the Lake House. Pets must be kept off furniture at all times and on a leash when outdoors. Pets are not allowed on the main resort property. They are allowed to be with you when walking the roads near the resort and in the yard of the rental including down to your private dock area. Pet fees are $30 per night per pet or $150 per week per pet. Renters are responsible for any damages caused by pets to rental including floors and furniture.
Deposits
All reservations require a deposit. Deposits can be made with any major credit card(credit cards incurr a processing fee of 3.5%). They can also be made by personal check, but must be received within 10 days of booking your reservation. Balance is paid upon check-in.
Check In/Check Out
Your vacation begins at 2 PM. Please NO early arrivals. We have very little time to get the resort ready for our new guests. Arrival prior to 2 PM will result in a $50 early-arrival fee per cabin. Check out is 8 AM during our peak season and 9 am during off peak seasons.
If you will be arriving late to the resort, we ask that you call us and let us know. This is particularly important if you have never been to Birch Forest Lodge before.
Early Departures
Renter is responsible for the entire reserved length of stay. Refunds are not given for bad weather.

The Lake House is a newly aquired house right next to the resort. It is a large 3 bedroom property with a garage, private dock, yard and fire pit area. The Lake House is also pet friendly for those who wish to bring their 4 legged family members!
Like all rentals at Birch Forest Lodge, the unit is smoke free. Guests staying in the Lake House have full access to the entire resort at Birch Forest Lodge such as the beach area and use of non motorized watercraft. Dock fees for using the dock are $15 per day for boats on dock or $75 for the week and include power at the dock. Pet fee is $30 per night or $150 per week for well behaved pets.
