Early June 2023 Fishing Report

Fishing is still going on strong for all species. Bass are just now starting to bite on top water lures. The whopper plopper was a big hit this week. Wacky rig senkos were very good as well as lawless lures for bass. Crappie are still biting on minnows, but more spread out and in a little deeper water. Bluegills are on beds and being caught by everyone. Walleye fishing continues to be strong in the morning and evenings. Lots of pike.
