Water temperature is up to 64 degrees.
Crappie bite is still good. Crappie are hitting leeches, minnows and crawlers. Seems they have about finished spawning, but we are still seeing 12-13 inch Crappie coming in.
Smallmouth are on their beds and on calm days you can spot fish them. Soft plastics are working very well. 5 inch Senkos wacky rigged seem to be best. Red hooks are hot. Leeches are also very good for bass right now. Twister tails rigged on a small jig being casted into rock piles are also doing well (chartreuse seems to be best).
Perch have really come on this week. Lots of nice Perch being cleaned.
Bluegill are biting well, especially worms.
And today we saw this nice 24 inch Walleye come in!
