Fishing Report May 14 2023

Fishing was very good for opening weekend. Lots and lots of big bass were caught. Both largemouth and smallmouth bass were hitting crank baits, jerk baits, swim baits, chatter baits and even some soft plastics. Leeches also worked well. Pike were hitting everything thrown in the water. Walleye fishing was decent. Most of the walleye caught here were caught accidently while fishing for bass and northern pike. Water temps were in the upper 50s already.
